Knitted with love

Helping people of all ages

Knitting projects have been important to Mothers' union in Cork for a long time and, while this seems to be a small thing to do, receiving a gift of a little bonnet and blanket for a very premature baby or a prayer shawl when you are unwell in hospital can really make a difference.
Members, young and old, produce the most beautiful bonnets and blankets for the Neonatal unit at Cork University Maternity Hospital.

The following fiddle muff was knitted for the people of St. Luke's Home

Fiddle muffs and blankets are being ‘tried and tested’ – and are being much appreciated by patients in the Alzheimers Unit of St Luke’s Home.
